This is a summary outline of the responsibilities required of the Operations Coordinator. This description may be modified as necessary. 
 
Summary of Essential Duties
The Operations Coordinator is responsible for assisting the firm’s operations team with new account processing and client service items - this position involves frequent client interaction.  Specific areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to the following:
                     
New Account Responsibilities
  • Ensure that new client accounts are in good order and submitted in a timely fashion
  • Communicate and document new account progress with applicable team members
  • Communicate new account setup and transfer progress with clients when applicable
 
Client Service Responsibilities
  • Assist with processing client service items such as change of address, change of beneficiary, and client withdrawal requests
  • Work with team members to provide administrative/clerical support
  • Ensure that clients have satisfied annual IRS Required Minimum Distribution requirements
 
Requirements and Qualifications
  • License Requirements: None
    • Preferred Licenses: Series 7, Series 66
  • Detail-oriented with high degree of accuracy and follow up
  • Energetic, eager to learn, ability to collaborate with a wide range of clients and team-members
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to excel while working in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently and under direction
  • Impeccable ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity
