Trihydro is a leading engineering and environmental consulting firm dedicated to providing clients across many industries with innovative, responsive, and safe solutions.  We pride ourselves on maintaining a company culture of honesty, safety, hard work and trust, as we tackle some of the most complex engineering and environmental challenges. Trihydro has an opening for an experienced Human Resources Director in our Laramie, Wyoming office. 

Position:                            Human Resources Director
Position Location:            Laramie, WY

Primary Responsibilities:            
  • Manage Human Resources issues, policies and programs to maintain compliance and minimize risk
  • Stay on top of HR-related best practices, policies, programs, benefits and changes in regulations
  • Lead, develop and manage the Human Resources Business Unit Team Leaders, Group Managers and staff
  • Lead and oversee development, improvement and implementation of the various Human Resources programs, including:
    • Talent Management
    • Compensation and Benefits
    • Employee Relations
    • Policies and Compliance
    • Communication
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources or a related field
  • Professional Human Resources certification or the ability to obtain one in a timely manner
  • Demonstrated understanding of Human Resources processes, programs and software
  • Strong industry and problem-solving skills, including employment law and applicable local, state and federal regulations
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Initiative and self-motivated with a proven ability to identify and address challenges and complete projects in a timely manner
  • Ability to regularly exercise sound professional and appropriate judgment free of direct supervision
  • Proven ability to work independently, as well as a team leader and/or as part of a team
  • Excellent business writing, staff management and communication (written and oral) skills
  • Has demonstrated the highest level of character, honesty and integrity and can consistently apply those qualities to benefit the Company and our employees
  • Acceptable driving record with the ability to travel to other Trihydro offices, as needed
Preferred Qualifications  
  • Demonstrated ability to help create a positive and productive culture to recruit, retain, and inspire high-quality employees
  • Proven track record with 10 years of progressive leadership and management experience in Human Resources
  • Direct industry employment history in human resources or related field
  • A flexible working-style and willingness to occasionally modify schedules to meet corporate initiatives
This is a full-time position with excellent benefits, including a 10% 401(k) match.
